Penning Ionization Electron Spectroscopy (PIES) in Plasma

Also under development is a gas analysis technology based on Penning Ionization Electron Spectroscopy (PIES) in plasma. PIES allows for the selective detection of gases by measurement of electron energy spectra produced through the phenomenon of Penning ionization.
