Partnering

Lenterra is interested in forming partnerships in industry and academia for the development of new technologies. Current Lenterra partners include:

University of Maryland – Dept. of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Professor Richard Calabrese

A prototype of Lenterra’s fluid wall shear stress sensor based on Whispering Gallery Mode technology has been tested on an industrial mixer at laboratory facilities at the University of Maryland in collaboration with the High Shear Mixing Research Program directed by Prof. Richard Calabrese.

New Jersey Institute of Technology – Dept. of Chemistry and Environmental Science
Professor Somenath Mitra

Development of a portable PIES gas analyzer for greenhouse gases is being carried out jointly between Lenterra and Prof. Somenath Mitra’s research group at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Prof. Mitra’s group is developing a gas preconcentrator based on carbon nanotube technology that will greatly enhance the sensitivity of the analyzer.
